Do you know who is going to buy the 45 million + shares owned by Lockheed or who the partners of Cyberstar are going to be? I do not & therefore I find it unfair to judge Bernard Schwartz's performance yet. For me, Loral & Globalstar are long term investments. They are both extremely complex undertakings, which are proceeding reasonably close to the original business models. I think both of these companies are extremely undervalued & will reward those with vision & patience.

Hi Mike:

I completely agree that Alcatel would be the most
likely buyer of LOR. However, ALA has its plate full with
the Newbridge acquisition. I do not see it coming back for
a big purchase for another 6 months. The timing must be
just right, since unless G* starts signing customers at
afurious pace, LOR shareholders will be really frantic
in August or September.

I really feel sorry for LOR employees in non-G* units,
since their stock options or 401ks are probably well
under water through no fault of their own.

Best regards,

Bernard Levy
