Are you saying that there will be commercial quantities of GPRS phones, operating at 4X 9.6k = 38.4k, eight months from now? Do you think it is significant that existing CDMA networks in Japan and Korea support 64k data now?

So edge won't be deployed until 2002? What will the data rate be for the initial EDGE deployments?

Here in the backward ol'USA, where GPRS / EDGE will compete head to head with 1XRTT, what do you predict the outcome to be? Which system do you think will have a competitive advantage? Highest data rates? Most efficient use of spectrum? I know that the US is an insignificant market, but it might make a good test market.
