I used to own a few moneylosing timeshares at Duck, NC
Ocean Pines, run at the time by a NJ drunk with mob connexns
sold out for loss in late 1980's

still like to check out that area of Outer Banks
now a fave pastime is to steal sandals left out front at Ocean Pines, urinate at night on their office door, u7se their beach lounge chairs, cool stuff like that, peek in windows, make loud animal noises outside bedroom windows, learned these in college

check out the Corolla Lighthouse, worth the $8, great view

biggest thrill in years: take parasail cruise in Duck off bayside... did that in 1997 with 1000 foot line... scared the shit out of me, esp when the line finally was drawn out fully at the end, and JERKED ME UPSIDE DOWN in the harness... I was upside down at 700 feet altitude... how did I know I was 700 feet up?... 1000 ft divided by square root of 2, assuming a 45degree angle for the line

geometry, right TechGuerrilla?
