"Owning ATHM is somewhat akin to receiving a daily beating from a drunken stepfather."

Hi Mike- I got a chuckle out of that one. Somehow I think a drunken stepfather would be more gentle.

Between ATHM sinking like a rock and our new puppy eliminating in the wrong places, my wife is about ready to throw me in the crate with my dog. My spouse is akin to that drunken stepfather. She has been on me for weeks/months to dump those ATHM shares. I just keep hanging on. One of these days I'll either be rich, or get the rolling pin for sure.

Hey, I helped add a new ATHM subscriber Saturday. A colleague wanted AT&T@Home, but needed to update the memory on her Mac Presario 5200. Only one computer service outfit in the area would touch her Mac. Unfortunately, she did not buy the memory from them, so they said forget it. (Just one reason why I own a PC). I went over and added the additional memory for her. Walla! A paying customer!

I look forward to the broadband site. I hope it is big! The message from Solid was positive. This stock needs a lift badly!

Prudential has always been positive about ATHM. They are hurting just like the rest of us longs. There must be tons of Pru customers holding shares. I want some of the other brokerage firms to be bullish on ATHM. Where is Merrill Lynch when need them? We need some of the heavyweights to pound the table.
