sure good to see you here. "...almost twice over." very cool. i started with $5300 in '96. goal is 4.5M by Christmas. i'm half way there. you're right about the internet. it has changed everything. for just about everyone, investing. they try to tell us it won't last. but we're schooled, like you said, better than ever before. we've been exhorted to invest for the long haul, to buy on market dips, and to stay the course in turbulent times. such counsel is likely to declaw any future bear markets. we have free access to an expanding flow of information, and are fortunate enough to be able to share it in communities like this. the online brokers have made trading cheaper, while eliminating the discomfort of having to explain our decisions to some broker with his hands in our pocket. things have definitely changed. and i'm sure you'd agree that it's good to be down in the front row. <g>
