Those are the rates I was referring to. If I buy $30K of a $1 stock with Greenline they charge me $900 round trip (1.5%). Schwab costs $150 round trip (.25%) for the electronic trading. This type of saving adds up very fast.

I guess it all depends what type of trading you are doing. For example, $50K of a $50 stock cost $60 round trip with Greenline but $125 round trip with Schwab. But in general I have found that Schwab's cost structure ends up being cheaper in the end.
