Those that produce GaAs circuits (ANAD, VTSS and TQNT) can benefits from smaller and smaller features, but those that make passive SC cryofilters, like the CDTS, SCON and ISCO, do not, as far as I know.

Sammaster,

The smaller the line-width, the more die that get printed on the wafer.

The smaller the line-width, the lower the power needed to keep that device running.

All in general terms.
