Well, I guess you confused me when you wrote: Message 13173956 David, as you quite rightly conclude 3Com does have 349 million share outstanding and another 990 million authorized, but would I be far fetched to surmise that the remaining 990 million shares might be used for splitting if the stock exceeds $100 in the near future. I feel if this is the case then 3Com is well positioned to take advantage of the psychology associated with share splitting. given that 3Com has a total of 990 shares authorized.
