pomp,

a few measly millions of dollars

If memory serves, Intel has options to buy in excess of one million shares at about 10/share. That would be a profit of a minimum of $410 million at Friday's close. This would be one of Intel's better investment returns, if not certainly THE BEST - when Intel ever sells them.

I also remember the options don't vest until a certain preset market share target is reached by RDRAM's.

Lastly, I recall that the market share target was high enough to make me totally unconcerned about the potential dilution.

Barry (too lazy to look up the actual numbers)
