eplace:

Vacation is over and it was outstanding...Playa del Carmen, Mexico, is fabulous for sun, sand and surf...Some of us snowbirds like that prescription for a winter holiday!

Wrt AMD, normal trading range for the next while from a technical perspective is $50 to $60...I suspect after Friday's overreaction that AMD will resume its upward bias this week...Certainly hope so as I picked up some Mar 50 calls on Friday when AMD was around $51...Hope to get out of them around $56 to $57...Still holding quite a few April and July calls...

Just no bad news in the foreseeable future for AMD...On the contrary, nothing but good news on the horizon...beginning with Mr. Sanders' 13 million Y2000 Athy projection which will soon be followed by Q1 revenues exceeding $1 billion, maybe even exceeding $1.1 billion and Q1 earnings quite possibly exceeding $1.00!!! If both those projections are realistic, AMD will not remain in the $50 to $60 range for long...and a close above $60, the upper boudary of the 5 year trading range, could easily set off some more fireworks under the price of AMD...Given the current outlook, anyone picking up AMD under $100 anytime in Y2000 will probably earn a very healthy ROI by Y2000 year end...

(I'd guess AMD will be significantly higher than $60 come April 21/00)

Mister Ed - Re: "Do you know what has happened to Intel's stock since the AthWiper was introduced in June ?
It is up 120 % !!!!
Paul, I guess the 300+% gain for AMD since that time pales by comparison. NOT!! Me thinks that kicks your Ath."

Sorry, Mr. Ed - that 300% gain of AMD went into my pocket as well as Intel's 120% gain.

Can you claim the same ?

Paul
