Found this interesting post on the RB thread: Here's what I wrote last week (on the EXDS boards) about Mr. Greenspan- Greenspan's trouble seems to be a lack of imagination. He sees all this new wealth being created and says "Golly, gee, that's always been inflationary". His knee jerk reaction is to raise interest rates (which is really the only tool he has at his disposal). He's been somewhat successful in suppressing the old DOW smokestack style outfits with their addiction to capital. What seems to elude and/or frustrate him is that he's accelerating the flow of money into the NASDAQ. Folks see these cash-rich and overhead-light companies continue to prosper and they are leaping aboard. It's almost as if the old boy had found the perfect vehicle for fueling he growth of "irrational exuberance". Elvis Steve
