It seems quite possible to me that amzn will get into such trouble with all its debt that it will teeter near the edge, then get bought out, with no value granted for the stock. The assumption of debt would be the acquisition price.

I think amzn is now just too big and with too strong a franchise to actually go out of existence. But the shareholders are last in line. Think about it....
