L2 tells you what existed there then. You have to deal at what will exist there later. You look at L2 because things change fast, but it is that fact that refutes the value of looking at L2. To think L2 is of any value is to think you can beat the instantaneous state. The MM can't even do that. They can't be creative. If they try even under special conditions where the rules are modified, their expected return falls. By the time the hammer gets to the nail a bee lands on your hand and with alarm you instinctively and abruptly react moving your thumb into harm's way. The screwdriver would have done the job without the uncompensated risk. Do you also check the phase of the moon? Arch Crawford swears by it. I think they call that being a "mooncusser".
