Paul,

Intel's Coppermine is faster than an AThWiper of the same speed

Actually all five of the GHz PIII parts are faster than Athlon!

Paul, re:<Intel's Coppermine is faster than an AThWiper of the same speed>

Not in Windows NT or Windows 2000! And the 2-3% advantage Intel has in blood and gore games is insignificant compared to the 10-15% advantage Athlon has in every one of the professional graphics applications Anand tested.

Did you know that Athlon is 100% faster than Pentium III in LINPACK, a common benchmark used to compare supercomputers?
