I won't claim to be any expert on european money growth- but I see ample evidence of inflation in reports of rising prices around the globe. Most are higher than in the US- hence the continued strength of the US $ over the recent past.

No inflation in real estate they say? I just sold a lot for a 24% gain after one month! <g>

It was just a matter of luck mainly, because the supply is ample at the moment. I just happened upon a good deal.

I continue to see real estate as a hold for the long term. I understand it is bubbling in certain areas enriched by stock market gains- but outside of those areas, it is a bargain. After all, they can't print any more land, can they? <g>

There is an anomaly in the same area I sold the lot. It costs about 30% more to build a house than to buy a similar existing one. I wonder how long this type of anomaly can persist, and if it is happening on a larger scale?
