Gilder recommends Globalstar per this Yahoo post.
That means Loral which just sunk on an analyst downgrade of Globalstar. But Globalstar is too young to judge. I for one am buying a G phone this year for international biz. Only way to guarantee getting through nomatter where you are. IMHO seems like a longterm winner. And LSFT has big interest in LOR. I like here here. Hold onto it for a few years and it will be worth 1000% more. That's my opinion. Of course the trick is to hold which I'm bad at (Cien, Orcl, BVSN, AFCI, PAIR, WIND, DCTI, etc.). ANyway here's the Yahoo post:

thing below calling the 2 analysts that downgraded G* complete idiots.1st,the roll-out is barely 6 wks old.41
countries are now serviceable and 27-32 more are planned by years end.48 satellites are in place, including 4
spares, recently launched. The handset costs are dropping from 1500 to 400 by April 1st.Every major Telecom
in the world is signed up as a distributor.Data and internet capability will be built into the system by years
end, using Qualcomm technology,as successfully demonstrated last week.Merril Lynch believes it has enough
data to conclude there is no market for this product, while dozens of major telecoms who we may assume, know
their markets, apparently disagree,as they are spending or planning to spend millions to promote the service.95%
of wall street analysts are wrong by 25% or more in their 5 yr earnings estimates, and generally err on the
conservative side, especially with high growth companies.None of the competitors are using the superior CDMA
technology that has G* service so successful. Our money remains in Globalstar, and we will be adding more at
these levels. Merrill is also assuming when credit lines expire starting in June and more next year, there will not be new money ready and willing to step up to the plate.Loral and Qualcomm are major investors and not ready to allow a great idea to expire worthless, when it is nearing profitability. The one credit line expiring in June is being renegotiated next week. There presently is no actual debt on that line. The company's debt on other lines is about 650 million dollars,250 mm guaranteed by the partners and the remaining 400mm guaranteed by Loral. All this is quote for the most part from the Spear Report, and George Gilders editors.I wish I could let you see it all.Myself,I've
seen atleast 8 commercials yesterday on the travel channel,in 6 hours! The aggressive roll-out campaign has begun!
