and set my jumpers for 100 FSB. Then I went to the BIOS and used the internal setting to bump the P3 600 up to 133 while keeping the locked 6x.

Sorry Thurston but I am confused. What exactly did you bump up to 133.

One good way to help clear up the confusion would be for you to run Intel's frequency ID utility program on your new computer and then report the results to us. The program can be found at: support.intel.com
