LPS5:

Nice meeting you at the expo. I wish I had the time to talk
with you. I was interested in what your typical day is like managing a fund.

I was distinguishing between the market maker traders who do the actual trading day in and day out and those in upper management with firms such a MLCO and GSCO who are market making firms.

I was recalling a book by Richard Ney called "The Wall Street Jungle" where he gives various examples such as a firm issuing a buy for a stock while at the same time having their VIP customers selling out due to a coming future negative event.

Like he said "just follow the money"
