i agree that the wild valuations are put on alot of the new economy companies because nobody is really sure just how vast the net will grow or even what it might morph into.

You stated my position distinctly.

The problem is that I failed to put a few dollars in YHOO and GNET, et al, because I followed the bears and expected a major collapse in the "internuts".

My portfolio value has increased substantially in the last few months since I invested in a few of the "new wave" companies.

I might.
