re: "Cisco AMD flash deaL"

I just have this feeling that this might be more than a trifle more important than the "x-boX" inteL deal in revenues and PROFITS!

Further, Sony has, until now, been exclusively a growing and virtually exclusively an inteL house for all of their portable and desktop computer offerings. With this new inteL/microsofT alliance aimed squarely against them; do you suppose that they might just consider perhaps an ATHLON or two in some of their yet to be announced offerings? HHHHHHMMMMMMMM? $20 to $35 peEiiI's vs $1000+ ATHLONS. I wonder which will bring more profits to the bottom line? Also, if the x-boX does take off, what do you suppose are its implications to cpu capacity constraints for the company manufacturing these low margin devices?

DARBES
