Thanks for the link, AM. I agree that there are issues with China than transcend the importance of cdma by orders of magnitude. The only way I'd support China's inclusion in the wto is if they were required to clean up their act.

It was terrific meeting you in San Diego, Mike. I'm hoping to see you and your family in Maui later this year.

Aloha,
uf

Mike- Obviously, there are many things very wrong and quite disturbing about China. The question is how best can the civilized world affect change there? Is it to shut them out and try to force change upon them through isolation (I think that will not work), or is it to let them in, open them up to fun things like the internet, free trade, free thoughts, ultimatley, one day, a free society.

I hear you on persecution
unfortunately, and ironically, isolation worsens that same persecution to the extreme
the politicians have nothing further to lose

for persecution, check Korean nationals in Japan
africans in NewYorkCity
Turks in Germany
etc etc etc

to remove these human rights abuses, you MUST open the window and let the fresh air breeze in

Japanese and other Asian markets whacked us again
Naz is getting no worse from here at minus 209
