Inpursuit, Thanks for the welcome back. Looks like some people are going to get hammered this AM. People who should watch their stocks, not their mouths.
Joana and I have been passing PM for weeks so we missed nothing while we were giving SI the "Fish Eye Silent Treatment", however due to children, the whole board missed some great calls and market timing.
And WHY are they talking about Warren Buffet on CNBC this AM? I think even Ralph and Barton have made better calls.
Watch the trading this AM, I do love fear as it is another word for sale. Watch JDSU as this is one of the stocks the big boys want. Also watch DELL, more upgrades today.
This could get ugly and quick (the Yellow Pup says so), just the way the big boys want it. It will be interested to see what stocks they want to shake people out of and when they step in. Smart people with good stocks should screw the big boys and just hold.
Asia had a pull back, big deal they needed one.
909S and thank God for fresh air, BLUE

& Howdy 2U2, Inpursuit! Thanks! You know, something good about not focusing on this board so much has been taking the time to re-discover some numerous other wonderful money-making threads here on SI, with so many stocksmart and personable people. The different trading philosophies and disciplines, the wealth of links and info presented - there's so much sharing in a truly goodhearted and generous way on SI, same as Techride. And then, there some boards/posters who are more (for lack of a better word, shall we say...) of a predatory bent. IMHO, most of these make the mistake of losing their objectivity with the market, of thinking the wishes they say actually could effect any market or stock moves. These folks are valuable contrarian bellewethers, contributing to knowing what ISN'T going to happen, what NOT to do, what stocks to stay away from. The market's been mighty difficult lately, many stocks moving opposite to what you'd expect them to do under whatever circumstances. But the same basic rules, thankfully, still hold true. Right now, I'm holding some really wonderful stocks hovering around a minus (they're lower than I thought they'd go, or I would've waited longer to get 'em). When they go up for the day, I look at my portfolio and see really nice possibilities - when they go down, I start to get nervous. But I'm stubborn - seeing alot of work being done to scare folks out of the market IMHO. Tells me something. Last year I was playing the momos, this year I can't because I have too many other things to do in the daytime to stay on top of 'em enough to justify playing 'em. There's so many nice ones out there right now, that's for sure! Anyway, that's what I've been doing for you lately - staying calm. Details are on a post or two back - those are my picks, or I wouldn't have 'em.
Not thinking the market's gonna crash, and I'm positive about the future of the internet sector, or I wouldn't be in it. How about you, what are you doing?
And your Uncle Rodney is right.
909s,
JOANA
