AMD will be able to supply several hundred thousand 1GHz processors by end of Q2, quoting Shunsuke Yoshisawa, of AMD Japan. There could even be as many as between 500,000 and 2.5 million, if L&H software translates properly. If so, we at The Reg would expect AMD to significantly lower the price of its 1GHz offerings and pretty early on (April?).
