Thanks for your response.

Re Motorola, from end of '99 through early 2000, they sold off their position in Echelon, and even though their right to manufacture neuron chips was due to expire January 31, 2001, they had the right to, and did discontinued earlier than that date.

And you're right about the importance of i-LON server; I sort of buried the lead. The iLON sever and Cisco's imprimatur is huge for Echelon.
