Part of my trading strategy is to find companies that have an experienced management team with a long record of success that also have a significant stake and are also accumulating shares in the company they are attempting to grow. In addition, I also like to discover that individual not associated directly to the company on paper, but with a long history of business successes, are also holding large stakes in the company. In my experience this type of share structure is one of the best receipts for success.

The following break down of holdings in the company was pieced together from the most recent documents on the CDNX website (http://www.cdnx.ca/), Carlson Online Insider Trading Reports (http://www.fin-info.com/), and the company?s most recent Management Proxy Report and Form 61 filings on Sedar (http://www.sedar.com). I find that a combination of these documents gives the most accurate breakdown of individual?s holdings.

Toby Chu (President, CEO and Director)
According to the latest insider trading reports dated Feb 7/2000, Mr. Chu holds 345,984 shares. The records show that Mr. Chu?s last few transactions were all buys in the $1.65-$2.03. In addition, Mr. Chu is the beneficial owner of Concordia Financial Management. In the private placement closed February 25, 2000 Concordia Financial Management purchased 370,978 special warrants.

Total holding of Mr. Chu = 716,962 shares, 370,978 warrants, 115,000 options

David Richardson (Director)
According to the latest insider trading reports dated Feb 8/2000, Mr. Richardson holds 305,705 shares. According to the most recent Carlson online insider trading reports (http://www.fin-info.com), Mr. Richardson has increased his holdings in the company during the past 3 weeks by over 75,000 shares through open market purchases with the latest purchase being 12,000 shares at $2.01/$1.99.

Total holdings: 305,705 shares, 100,000 options.

Ken Lee (Director)
Mr Lee purchased 177,857 special warrants in private placement closed February 25, 2000.

Total holdings: 115,000 shares, 90,000 warrants, 15,000 options

Tim Leong (Chief Financial Officer)
Although Mr. Leong?s is not listed on the Inside trading reports as a result of his position in the company it should be noted that Mr Leong recently purchased 177,857 special warrants in private placement closed February 25, 2000 and is listed as owning options for 50,000 shares

Other directors and officers in the combined over 50,000 shares with options to purchase and additional 100,000 shares

The new CDNX website (http://www.cdnx.ca/) offers a service called InfoCDNX, which allows investors to view for a fee all individuals involved in private placements and the number of shares/warrants that they have purchased.

According to these records several prominent and successful Hong Kong businessmen have taken down large sakes in the company (well over 1 million shares with attached warrants). In addition, several large blocks of the company were purchased by Vancouver players that are known for always being on the right side of deals.

It is my belief that the significant stake held by insiders in this company along with some fair size holdings by several successful groups greatly increases the probability that CPT will become a large success story.

Best Regards
KEITH
