UUplink, according to the article on the Zenit launch failure you posted on the GSTRF thread one of the two XMSR launches was planed this year. This surprised me a little bit: I thought both of them were scheduled to be launched
in Q1/2001. Further details on this were not disclosed now.

The stock price behavior of XMSR makes me wonder a little
bit. About 14 months ago CDRD has announced a delay of launch, of the the production of the Lucent chips, and of their radio service for about 7 months, and the stock then plumped down from $40 to $20. XMSR yesterday lost almost nothing!!! It seems that the negative psychology of the
sat radio, witch was due to Iridium and GSTRF failures those days, has completely disappeared! So I think that
XMSR would not face serious financial problems due to the
delay of their services, but SIRI might then have a 7 -9 months time advantage, at least. Provided everything will go OK with SIRI!
