Watch the E- Brokers Today With a down day set to hit and hit hard at the open, one should monitor the e-brokerages today. I do not some of these firms can handle much more volume without locking up. Let's see how many have problems today.

reWhen buying a bond, all you're betting on is an outcome -- the internet's ability to contain and snuff out inflationary forces eventually. Exactly the reason I was buying Zero's with some of my profit taking dollars last year when the long bond was higher. BTTRX is an easy way to get zero's (make sure to use an IRA). They have done very well for me already in 2000. Of course, I sold some AMAT and LRCX to raise the cash so I would have done better to stay put, but I wanted to diversify to get back to 80:20 and I have been happy with the performance (up ~11% YTD).
