Dear MeDroogies: ACTUALLY if you read the charter for the Federal Reserve System it was set up to PROTECT the value of the Dollar. I recall nowhere it mentioning inflation. I have been a supporter of AG mainly because in my judgement he has exercised restraint and moved with caution, however, I also think the Fed has taken it upon themselves to overstep the boundaries of their Charter. No one complains so long as the moves result in improvements but if we get driven into a serious recession OR WORSE over all of this THEN you will learn in a hurry about what I am describing above.
