To all, MSDW is really impossible to use these days. Of the last ten days trading I have spent almost seven hours on the telephone trying to get the accounting straight. Orders I have never placed being executed (2hrs to straighten that out). They called them ghosts. A trade I placed this morning at the open took a twenty minute phone call to find out if it had been executed and if it had at what price. Broker had to call the market maker because his screen showed it as still open, now almost two hours into the day and I still don't have a confirmation on my internet page. The broker said it Had been executed two minutes after placement. Glad I didn't need to trade it again! I have had enough. When this order settles in three days I am out of MSDW. Tired of the "fast Market" excuses. That is a valid excuse sometimes but not every day and for every problem. Any suggestions? I am basically a position trader. I have two other accounts TD waterhouse for IRA and a small NDB account. I want something better. Don't mind paying for better.
