We have won the presidency three out of five elections in the last 20 years. We have had the Congress for most of Clinton's administration, and the Senate for more terms still. The House impeached Clinton, and the House managers laid it on the line to prosecute. Most of the Senate Republicans voted for removal, and the defections were basically from the Northeast and the comparatively moderate wing of the party. The Republicans are not as gutless as you think.......
