AT&T to Introduce @Home in San Francisco
On March 6, AT&T will launch @Home service to 7,000 homes in the Bernal Heights area of San Francisco. The introduction of the service was delayed due to open access efforts, which were recently defeated. As part of the agreement to avoid an open access stipulation, AT&T agreed to upgrade the entire San Francisco cable network within the next four years.
