Max Internet Communications and Wintec Industries Announce OEM Agreement for Internet Video Conferencing Technology Story Filed: Monday, March 13, 2000 10:08 AM EST FREMONT, Calif., Mar 13, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Wintec Industries, Inc., a leading memory manufacturer and computer products distributor, and MAX Internet Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:MXIP) today announced they have signed an agreement in which Wintec will OEM the MAX i.c.Live technology to enable quality video communications via the Internet. Under the agreement, Wintec's VideoEdge Video Conferencing system will be powered by the MAX i.c.Live technology. MAX Internet Communications (MAX) patented the MAX i.c.Live technology to enable PCs to become the total video communications solutions. The MAX i.c.Live Internet Media Processor provides full-motion quality, maintains audio and video synchronization and performs multiple media streams simultaneously. With this technology, Wintec will be able to offer customers the benefits of distance learning, telemedicine, corporate communications, training and home and business security.
