o/t Today I close my DLJ DIRECT ACCT - down 5+ x in a week

20 min delay by phone, both marketspeed direct net link and the traditional web site are both down.

DLJ must have either a hack-attack, or be completely and totally incompetant. Why do these assholes keep advertising for and opening new accts when they cant #)%#@@ handle what they allready have ? They have had problems non-stop for over a week now - that is totally unacceptable.

They have the best format & live portfolio update system that I have seen - but, I've had it.

When we had than big OSX gap down open a while back; I couldn't get access to buy it.

We could have a real interesting scenario coming folks; if-when the DOW, or NASDQ really crashes - these systems will collapse and ONLY the Institutions will get their executions - the individual investor/trader will be sitting on the phone for 30-40 minutes - hoping to get access while the market goes into freefall...

I hope someone brings a class action on these companies advertising for and adding new accounts when it is obvious they can not handle a high volume day with their existing company base.

>>Slider buying FGH? The millenium is at hand!<<

I got a good laugh also. Got to give Slider credit for not being afraid to do a 180 when it seems profitable. The way I figure, if he bought one share for each syllable of FGH negativity posted on this and the Yahoo board, he may soon be nudging JL out of the big chair. (VVBG)

BigBull, a lot of us seem to have accumulated some cash. But the future traders don't seem too worried about crude (closed above $32) or NG (pushing $2.90). We'll see.

Personally, I'm feeling rather protective about the big pile of "dough" accumulated lately. Strange thoughts like "What the h--- am I going to use all this money for?" keep popping into my head. I guess one could have worse concerns. (G)

Take care Bull, and thanks to you and all the other valued contributors here. Winkman
