It seems you are wanting to bring remote examples of societal norms to bear on the subject. I have no objections to that. However, you draw the conclusion that nobody thinks twice about it. I'm not convinced.

I am a man and men do think twice about the form of a woman they are sexually attracted to. Its the sexual form that first causes men to seek a personal relationship with women, and some psychologists say that is a good thing for men. They also say women who respond to a man's sex appeal as their motive to get personal, get hurt more often than not.
