I would not be surprised to see DELL jump above $60 this week.

Reason 1: Short squeeze with options expiration.

Reason 2: Solid buy-side analyst recommendation from the former preacher of doom and gloom (Dan Niles, who was correct in his earlier negative calls despite drawing the ire of the DELL Thread.), which should keep the profit taking at bay as investors pray to be in the big run after being in the dulldrums. I expect that we'll be reading of "$100 by the shareholders meeting" and rumors of 2:1 splits. (Neither of which I would bank on in the next six months.) Nevertheless, I expect that the true fundamentals will also prove-out, despite the usual baseless speculation that we see with many stocks (of which I can probably be accused of promoting from time to time).

Longer term this stock will re-assert itself as a market leader, and is a fine, core holding for many investors.

Regards,

LoF

You're a patient man, ed. Very nice plays you've set up for April. I'll take you up on the TXN April 170's and watch Dell more closely.

ed glad to see you coming round the bend again...

I've filled out my WS Access application and am going to call them a little later today. I lost too many opportunities this a.m. I felt like a pro batter with a pro pitcher throwing balls but my bat was frozen--cuz it's hooked up to a discount broker. Well maybe thats a strange image. In any case, you get what you pay for and it's not worth it any longer.

I think txn is a good idea. You sold msft 95 and cnxt 95?

Trying to remember what I got for that zdemp, it was presplit, I don't think it was as high as 50 tho. I closed it out a while back for a modest profit.
