I can't belive the ADI announcement that Scrapps posted did not give us a little boost. ADI is selling this stuff like hotcakes.

On another note, I went back and read an analyst report from Stephens Inc. Research Bulletin January 28, 2000. The analyst stated the following:

Message 12728524

"In October, the Company announced that it had reached a long-term agreement with Intel Corp. under which the computer giant will incorporate Aware?s G. Lite and full-rate ADSL technology in chips to be used in a product line that we expect to appear in the second half of 2000."

I take that to mean we have a few more months to hear from Intel. Hmmm. Sure thought it would be sooner.

I don't know why, but I'm getting the feeling that the storm may have blown itself out. I don't really have a substantive reason why, just a vague general feeling. None too soon either, as the last six trading days have shaved a cool 40% off of the value of my portfolio. That's the risk one plays with being heavily weighted in one stock and using margin to boot. I do think the Asian situation bears watching closely. At this point, it mostly involves Japan and is not pandemic across the region like it was in 97. Still, the market can be VERY paranoid about this kind of thing, and in the words of Martin Zweig (and many others), you can't fight the tape. Believe me, it's true. I tried back then and got killed. jess.
