Jim, MHz is not that important in the high end. Benchmarks measuring transactions per minute are what count. To validate this, the RS6000 servers that IBM claims to be kicking Sun's butt at the high end now, have CPU chips that run at less than 400 MHz. "MHz is a don't care (much) for high end servers." Not as whippy as your "MHz sells", but just as true.
