Well, we're hoping that some of the leftover Athlons in Q4 were due to a lack of motherboards and the rest were typical inventory on hand at the end of the quarter.
This quarter should be more telling as more motherboards seem to be available.
With Dresden spitting out L2 on die cache chips, AMD should be able to pour it on in Q2 and Q3 before Willy makes it's debut in Q4. AMD should still do well in Q4 but like Scumbria says...AMD better have an answer for Willy in Q1, 2001 (like 1500-2000 Mhz). If not, the stock may well peak out in 2H of this year.
Didn't I e-mail you about the financial/beginning- production constraits on the Dresden FAB vis a vie the German government?
