Tony, RE: No new paradigms for you, huh?

Actually, the complete opposite. There's always a new paradigm. The market is just pricing this new paradigm way out of my range.

Lack of earnings doesn't bother me that much, as long as we aren't overly discounting future earnings. A couple of years ago, wireless was in this ballpark. Now, that ballpark is a distant memory.

It smells like '83 or '73 in the technology stocks right now. It will get ugly. My biggest worry right now is that my long positions will get caught up in a downdraft, and the downdraft will have a significant effect on the economy, which will exacerbate things.

Please note that this is not my typical cynical attempt at looking for the gray clouds around the silver lining. My worry goes a lot deeper now.
