Did I miss sthg ?

I'm not into the gaming stuff (yet, that is -- with two 5 year olds and two 3 year olds I expect that to change pretty soon). The article about the X-Box said that it could process 3x the number of polygons (triangles, I assume) that the PS II can. I have no idea who'll win, but I do like the idea of the two highest performance systems having some version of RDRAM inside. Hopefully that's what MSFT is planning.

Sony has a huge franchise, 1 in 4 U.S. households have the old Sony Playstation.

Think they will hang around forever waiting for the MSFT box, which will have bugs, and which has no games?? MSFT is inventing a phony standard that is a moot issue for the forseeable future.
