Very true Joan.

Here is what occurred to me regarding nudity.

If we believed as humans that we our merely animals. We would look at clothing our bodies in the same way we do other animals. In other words, it would look silly to us. But since we are more than just animals, we our spiritual beings, we recognize our nakedness. Clothes gives us dignity as a species.

As an example, what is the first thing the Nazi's did to people in their camps. They removed their clothes and had them parade around naked. They tried to humiliate them. And make them feel like animals.

And that's why clothing ones body, at least to some degree or another, is accepted cultural practice in nearly every culture. And is often demanded by law.
