30-40 mm is a pointless question -- most of those shares are owned by employees, SFE, Comcast, and big holders. Only maybe 10 mm are truly likely to trade.

For info see ipolockup.com

Yes, the stock would tank if 40 mm were sold. But it won't happen. I believe the lockup schedule is published, and something like 35 mm more get unlocked this month, -- about 10 days worth of trading -- these are on top of about 40 mm that are already free. A total of 140 mm or so pending between IPO and summer, but it is a gradual phase in. I know SFE has about 36 mm shrs, and is very unlikely to sell any, so that takes care of 1/4 of all the lockup shares thru summer, and about half the lockup-released shares so far. And the antsy sellers like IPALCO, have already sold most of their holdings. VCs will probably account for a significant chuck of the shares sold next.

The stock got hammered from 200-90 in the first lockup, but now the shock should be much lighter, and the float is there to absorb new shares with less pronounced drops.
