well, methinks that higher oil prices and scientific advances will make nuclear energy more attractive in the future...it's by no means dead. the environmental concerns are valid, but then most forms of energy ain't clean. imo the solution lies in finding ways to treat the used up fuel elements to make their storage more palatable or make them re-usable.
of course science might yet come up with other, more environmentally friendly and efficient energy sources, who knows.
for the dung moron effect to die out we'd need a catastrophic denouement. we'd need the dip buying to remain unrewarded for longer than two days in a row...
