Delta-System, Pro-bel's German distributor, delivered a 128 x 128 Eclipse matrix which is supporting the transmission operation, news, various post production controls and a studio. A System 3 controller, 35 remote control panels, and a patch panel were also included in the order. Klaus Graumann, head of television production facilities at Radio Bremen, said, "We chose the Eclipse and its control system after thorough investigations at the end of last year. Pro-bel offered the best integration of our legacy matrixes (Grass Valley Horizon 96 x 64 video and NTP 512 96 x 64 audio) along with the new digital matrix. "It will be used for SDI and SDTI networking in our facility and has now gone on air. Pro-bel and Delta-System gave a lot of support for the interfacing and smooth switch-over. We are sure we have chosen a reliable and cost effective new digital backbone for our facilities."
