An interesting way for us traders to save time, energy, etc.
<2. FLEETBOSTON OFFERS TELEPHONE HELP OVER THE NET

Suretrade.com, a subsidiary of FleetBoston Financial (FBF, $26, down $1), announced the addition of Net2Phone?s (NTOP, $56) voice-enabled e-commerce solution, Click2Talk, to its online tools, effective immediately. ?Click2Talk is a great tool because it enables our customers to place calls directly from the web to any telephone in the world, expediting sales by connecting customers directly to a live broker on a telephone, said Donato Montanaro, president of Suretrade. ?This will save our users time, energy and money, regardless of where they are calling from.?>

Jill - I wasn't going to wait to repair today - what I should have done to hedge was to go short the stock once it hit the strike of 170. Oh well - I am giving your idea of selling more puts. Probably don't have the guts since I have my doubts that this is the bottom.

Biotechs really have taken it on the chin. I sold my only biotech, IMCL, a couple of days ago, just didn't like the way the stocks were behaving. The last couple of days have been very difficult. Yesterday I bought the morning dip and felt real good until the swoon at the end of the day. I remember you were frustrated that you couldn't buy that dip, but as it turned out you got another chance.

This morning I sold the rally at market open, because I had a feeling that it was a trap. At noon I moved back in and bought calls and leaps on JDSU, CSCO, EMC, and MSFT and again was feeling pretty good until the market kept diving into market close. Oh well, I think I will just hunker down and ride it out with what I've got. Any kind of trading is dangerous right now. If anything, I will be buying puts.
