When my CyberX decided to take a vacation this morning, I called Cyber to get out of a trade -

At the time the stock, GSTRF, was trading at 18 3/4 on the bid and I was into it at 18 1/2.

Placed a market order and broker put me on hold - since the bid remained at 18 3/4 for a period of time that is what I expected to get filled at.

Broker came back after about 30 secs or so and says we got filled at 18 1/2 and 18 1/4 - a slight loss instead of the expected gain.

When I ask why it didn't fill at 18 3/4 he said, "By the time I GOT TO MY TRADING STATION, the bid had changed."!

Now, many of you were aware that when you call a broker HE MUST LEAVE HIS PHONE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO ENTER YOUR ORDER?

For a company that sell instant access to the market, this has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard of - their own customer service brokers not being at a trade station when a customer calls in!
