Stefan, There are a number of methods to increase your throughput. I've recommended a couple of products that will do that in small increases, but nothing will push 4x the bits like what you're expecting. You should go to hms.com and get the ISPEED product (free). It will restructure your setting for dialup networking packet sizes, etc, and will also give you some additional performance. Lots of small gains from various products will help.....UNTIL YOU GET CABLE or DSL. I am on CABLE since Friday, and it feeds the need for speed in a big way. PS: I can still use the "old" dialup methods, so I did some tests myself with a dialup connection and did get more throughput on downloads with their accelerator. Steve
