You just don't get it.

There is nothing wrong with Jim's name being on a list of suspects. What's wrong is the fact the NHPD notified the Yale authorities that Jim's name was on the list. That was wrong, it ruined Jim's career and life.


And it was right for Yale to publicize it?

I don't disagree with your statement. However I think there is plenty of blame to go around. Yale and the media should be included in the list of those that have ruined Jim's career and life...and one might argue that Yale should be held to a higher standard. There have been many Yalies that have indicated such.

I was responding to the assertion that the NHPD has only investigated Jim. Based on what I have read I do not believe that to be the case.
