I see the web as being a great interactional medium, I just don't see it as being a storage medium when it comes to personal data archives.

Backup maybe, but NOT archives.

Sorry, I see the web function to store personal/business data in public even under security as stupid.

Can I tell you the simple thought behind all this?

Well since I can I will.

My GrandPa Harry....he left the Farm and struck out on his own and owned a locker plant.

A Locker Plant in case you don't know is a place to store Referigerated Goods. Yea Referigeraters were there, but they were so expensive in the early days for most folks it was cheaper to store elsewhere. So Grandpa Harry built a big building and "rented" freezer storage to town folks in this big building cause it was nothing more then a huge referigatator.

He made money cause the aternatives of owning your own Refriderator were too expense. He made a killing for a while.

I don't see that in this space. Storing data vs. Meat.

Locker Plant is still there, but....It's a packing house. Cut up the meat and diliver it to you business.

Distribution vs. Storage.

Money is ALWAYS IN DISTRIBUTION.

Talking now; Paper vs Digital simply.

It's not storage. ie...there's not unique invention anybody holds on storage, nor is that the InterNUT. It's distribution that the InterNut is about.

There's no Economies in Storage via the InterNUT.
