If they do an all level shrink to say .15um at this point, (I doubt even half of Intel's capacity is even at .18um yet), it would really be a sign of desperation. But, they will certainly do it (single fab shrink) if there is NO other choice. But then AMD could probably do likewise. Awhile back, I expected the gamesmanship to begin on both sides.
